Simply Exquisit - Wedding

My 3 assignments for this syawal was simultaneous. Tough to coordinate but somehow managed successfully with helping hands from my sis Ame,daughter and mom.
My third job was for Puan Akmar whom I was introduced to by my niece Lia.I somehow knew what she had in mind. The result was indeed exquisit. We used pillows for a change and with the colour blue as the main theme they turned out nicely.Thank you Puan Akmar enjoyed working with you.' and your family.Blue seems to be the colour of choice this season! To your son Amran and his bride congratulations!

English Garden - Wedding

Congratulations Azmer and Shakira.Somehow have not met the newly weds.I did the engagement and this time for their wedding through azmer s aunt,Puan Ruby.Dont know why but this time around I like the colour of the blue hydranges.Although the colour was supposed to be a pink theme I tried to slot in tinges of blue to add colour to this set of English Garden feel otherwise it was pretty pale looking.Alhamdullillah everyone liked them.Thank you Puan Ruby for your support and trust.Awaiting to post pictures soon.

Deep Purple - Engagement

Remember the rock group in the 70's - Deep Purple? Somehow the colour reminds me of them. Not that this theme had anything to do with a rock band!Third syawal was a special occassion for Ratna , this sweet lass from Mersing. It was to be her engagement day.Being raya getting the right colours for fresh flowers was indeed difficult.but somehow we managed to get them and. complete the tasks in time for her to transport them back to her hometown.Happy with the colour combination and so was Ratna.Thank you Ratna.Enjoyed doing this set for you.Looking forward to do your wedding set soon.Good luck and enjoy your stay in Dublin.Awaiting your pictures from you.

Flower Balls of Love - Wedding

At last Ayin 's big day finally arrived.!The date was 4th May 2009.Ayin has given me the task to create her hantaran. She insisted her colour theme was aquamarine and pink.,and of cos with fresh flowers, which I simply love to do.She suggested flower balls and candles(which by the way was already bought by her) and took the suggestion to task.Am glad they turned out very nicely.Thank you to my sisters,Ame and Sofi and mom and niece,Iman who came by to help me with the finishing touches.Somehow the hantarans blend very well with Ayin's wedding concept at the house. There were lots and lots of flower balls hanging from the ceiling of the tents.Liked what Poetry of Flowers did with the pelamin.Simple yet very tastefully done. Bride looked very demure and berseri2.Just let you all take a peek at the hantarans .Pictures by courtesy of bride and groom.Thank you Ayin and Iskandar for your trust and congratulations again!

Got this idea from my niece Lia who uttered immediately when she saw my set of hantarans for pretty Masdian.Mas was sure what she wanted - all white .There I was cracking my head at this short notice attempt. The florist ran out of white flowers as there are too many weddings going on this time of the year.Thank my dear hubby who stayed up with me while I finished them. The result as you can see turned out ok.Thank God.

Pearly Pink Roses - Wedding

A set of hantarans using silk flowers for Ida. This pretty lady wanted her favourite colour pink as her theme.I have added on pearls and crystal beads.A simple design to give away to the groom.Glad she liked them. Thanks Ida!

Enchanting Glow - Engagement

Ayin is my daughter's best friend. She liked what I've done with Ida's hantaran. Somehow
we worked together on her hantarans for Iz using rod irons and organza boxes. The colours cream, maroon and peach was a good combination.
I named this set enchanting glow because there was a black out that nite.Thank God it only lasted two hours.Everything else went on smoothly after that.Ayin and family were very happy. That s all that matters to me!

Lovely Pink Lady - Wedding

The nikah was held at Kompleks Tabung Haji on 20th December 2008. Yes, coincidently, it was Mawi's wedding too! And he does look like Mawi... This is raziq and ayins wedding!Congratulations to you both! The bride was glowing from head to toe.!

The groom wanted something sweet for his lovely bride. I used pink and cream fresh flowers.Lots of them.Could not get the particular pink coloured roses I wanted but somehow the combination turned out ok.Again I love the combination of fresh flowers and glass beads against silver dulangs covered with cream lapik dulangs. The tafetta lapiks are embroidered and hand beaded.I love the cake that kak fauziah made for this wedding.Again she did wonders! The buttercake was good I was told too!

Sweet Farah - wedding

This handsome couple was Azlan and Farah.Their wedding was on 16 January 2009.A very jovial groom to be who brought me his late mother's collection of antique brass dulangs to work with. I enjoyed working with them and farah's mom especially.
For azlan's hantarans to farah I used lots of pink and cream fresh roses. The theme was pink again.Seems to be the colour for this year's brides.I kept it simple as what the groom wanted.Named this set "sweet farah" just like the bride!Sorry the photos were not very good.

Love is blue - wedding

I was introduced by a close friend to bride's mom. When we met she told me what she wanted and left everything to me to source and create. The colour theme was of cos blue.It was a pleasure working with her and Farah.Managed to source for them the silver dulangs, the sejadah and the main table wedding favours.Azlan's pair of shoes was such a huge size that it took me a while to figure out what to do with .When your clients give you a free hand it makes things easier and enjoyable to create.Alhamdullillah everything went well and all were happy with the outcome!

True Elegance - Wedding

The theme for the hantaran was purple and white. Instead of the usual dip flowers we used glass beads and combination of fresh flowers.Since the groom did not like anything fancy we tried to keep the design simple but nice.White roses was the main flower but we used lots of small roses ,sweet williams , baby's breathe, etc. The beautiful cake was done by my good friend kak fauziah from ulu kelang. She specialises in hantaran cakes.I enjoyed doing this set of hantaran, especially the sireh junjung, it turned out very nicely.Alhamdullillah.The bride and groom looked so regal in Man Kajang s outfit and of cos the pelamin and decorations were by Razak of Flora etc.Well done Razak .Love your work!
