Purple Magic - Wedding

Purple, purple, purple ......how I love the colour! theres so many shades of it that you can never get tired or it.Its indeed a magical colour.Experimenting the combination of colours is what I love doing.Of cos my fav flowers...orchids!
Its Fara Dilla s big day..12 november 2010.Working with Dilla and her mom,puan Nora, of section 9, shah alam,was a delight and easy.This pretty lady knew what she wanted.The results turned out pretty nicely too.Love them myself.The striking colours were a contrast against the off white pillows which was magical too.Thank you again Ame who helped me handstitched the pillows,Jaja my all time runner, Ayin ,Nedd an Ani always helping me out.Thank you and love you all dearly.To Puan Nora Selamat Menyambut Menantu,Dilla and partner,Selamat Pengantin Baru and to my dear friend,Rodziah thank you for the introduction.

Delightful Pink - Wedding

Hi.....quite a while since I last update my blog....reason.....becos pictures unavailable.The ones Im showing here are not that nicely taken.....the unprofessionals (sorry ija....I know it was a rush at the masjid!)but anyway, it was the wedding of shahira or better known as Ira and partner shukri.Ira happens to be my husband s grand niece.
They were married at Masjid TUDM in TTDI on 5 november 2010.Pink and gray were the colours of the day.Nothing fancy but a simple presentation so to speak.Nieces noraini and sister Shikin were around to give a helping hand and so was my sister Ame my dear assistant.Thank you all.
White lace on gray was indeed a delight.All hand stitched and beaded.Anyone interested you know where to call me.I customise alas dulang too!Aunty Raina 012 2965148.

Gina oh Gina - Engagement

Gina is my daughter s close friend from college.She has asked me to help her with the sireh junjung for her engagement.Have done something different for her.Hope you like the arrangement gina.Happy to do your wedding hantarans too if given the tasks.Thank you again.Apologies we have not received the pictures for you all to view yet.

Purple Hearts - Engagement

Zamri is the son of my close friend from Penang , Rodziah.Rodziah has always been so kind with her daun sireh which she has aplenty in her backyard.Thank you Rodziah.Can never repay you for all the daun sireh I have got from you.Anyway, for this engagement Rodziah has prepared herself beautiful set of alas dulang in deep purple.The beautiful pieces of vietnamese silver all belong to her.....she wanted the arrangements to be simple.....hope you and family especially Zamri liked the arrangements.Nothing like fresh flowers....they make a whole lot of difference......alive!

Lovely in Lace - Wedding

Im back after ramaddan s over.This time its Khaty's big day.The date is 2nd October 2010.A good friend of my son and daughter in law. This pretty and petite lass liked what I did for Anna. Anyway specially made a set of beautifully hand stitched and beaded lace alas dulang.I love it so much.....hope you like what I ve done for you Khaty.Thank you.To you and Zaki congratulations.To ayin thank you for your assistance,to sophie sorry for the rush in helping me with the bead work ,to jaja thank you too for helping out.Love you all dearly.

Sweet Serendipity - Wedding

Thank you Fazi and husband for hiring me to do the hantarans for their eldest son,Rossi who was getting married on 24th July 2010.Fazi wanted the colour scheme to be more pastels.Have chosen cream and peach for the flowers and of cos I ve done a beautiful set of cream coloured alas dulang all trimmed with lace.I liked them hope the groom and family like them too.

That English Rose - Wedding

17th July a perfect date for both Ainaa and Yazer to be married.Ainaa is the sister of Azreena for whom I did her wedding hantaran early this year.With the english theme and preferable vintage... I tried using a different tray setting.I liked the outcome but hopefully both the bride and groom liked them too.Congrats to the newly weds and of cos Puan Wan Junaida who is the mother of the bride.Thank you once again for your trust.

Gold and Beautiful - Wedding

The wedding season is back....this time every couple wants to rush before the ramaddan begins in August.A hectic month for me., but insyaAllah... I ll do my very best for all these couples.

A gold theme for Anna Karina on Akad Nikah day.....but somehow I have done a more modern set to suit her personality......Anna requested white flowers.We used white cymbediums,roses ,bbreathe.....and green poms poms.Hope Anna and family likes them.Thank you Natalie.Congratulations to bride and groom.

white orchids for the lady - Wedding

March 24 2010 was the date Dr Aizad married Dr Shireen.I was happy to have done the hantarans for Dr Aizad who happens to be the cousin of my daughter in law,Nedd.
Unfortunately that time the weather was terribly warm.....so had to be practical and chose flowers that could last the heat.

Although the theme was gold I tried to run away from the gold look and toned down.The final look was more modern....a mixture of gold bunga dip,silver dulangs and fresh orchids,eustomas,etc.

Hope the family liked them.Thank you Puan Ruby was trusting me.

We have moved to Bukit Cahaya since February this year.Business is of cos from our new home here.Alhamdulillah we love the place....lots of green, fresh air up in the hills and the calm ness of the whole place.....is indeed a change from the hustle and bussle of city life.Only thing that bothered me initially was we have to travel quiet a distance to get our necessities.

Now its been almost 4 months.We are almost settled. And the business starts coming in again.Alhamdulillah.Didnt have internet service here then....so could not update my blog...m picking up the pieces from where I left...slowly but surely.

Valentine s Wedding - Wedding

Valentine s Day Wedding......how romantic.Actually this couple got married two days before the actual valentines day.12 February ..that was the date.Azreena was introduced to me by her aunt Keena.I did a simple hantaran set using fresh flowers.....hydranges,carnations,eustoma,etc.The theme she wanted was white, lilac and blue.I was glad th family liked what I did.Anyway, Azreena and Puan Wan Junaidah thank you for hiring me.Looking forward to do another wedding for the family this time for little sisAaina.Insyaallah!
