Red is the colour of my heart - Engagement

The first time I met Siti , her sister and mom (oh yes the whole family too) was at Subang Parade.They all had come from Penang to plan for their younger brother's engagement here in KL.The 2 sisters already knew what they wanted.....and so it was .....red, yellow and white were the colours they chose.Lucky guy to have sisters like them....2 June was that special date......I had prepared a simple set....the items for the hantarans were beautiful enough.Hope the family liked them.Congrats to the newly engaged couple....hope to do your wedding hantarans again too.Thanking my sis Ame,Ani and of cos mom for assisting.Will be posting pictures soon.

Jingga oh Jingga - Engagement

A beautiful set I did for  Azraai s engagement.....love  the colour combination.Choosing  wrong ..colour combinations for fresh flowers can turn out to be disastrous. Sometimes the certain  colours of flowers that you want may not be available when you need them.....that when Plan B takes place.Imported flowers from different countries differ in their colours....Cream from China differs from the ones from India even local roses are different....one of the reasons why fresh flower arrangements are expensive.

Crystals with pastels - Engagement

Hi...I'm back.As usual , we had work to do....  so me and my team(namely my sis Ame and my daughters Jaja,Ayin and Nedd and not forgeting Mom) got  together to complete this task.
Thank you Rehan for your interest and trust.....happy to have met you and your husband(charming couple). But this set of hantarans were for Rehan's brother.How coincident....I had done one for a guy from cyberjaya for his fiancee in Seremban only recently.....and so similarly for Raqib(hope I got his name right)
Rehan requested for pastels on behalf of her brother...and so it was.....this time I matched them with crystals and silvertrays.Hope Raqib and your family like what we did...hopefully you will come back and let me do your wedding hantarans too.Thank you again.Dear All please be patient....as I will be posting the pictures soon.so dont forget to drop in again to view them.

Peaches and Cream - Engagement

My final assignment before 2011 ends.This time its for Adzwan from Penang and Asmah frm Seremban.It was indeed a short notice job.Thank you Adzwan for your interest and trust in my work.

I used geberas in peach, pink and cream with touches of carnations.Hope you both liked them.A. simple set up so to speak.

Tiffany Blue - Wedding

The date 11.11.11 seems to be THE date for most couples wanting a november wedding.I can imagine the no of weddings on that date.One of those couples was eddy and gina.She happens to be my daughter s school mate from sri aman.

Gina wanted a tiffany blue theme....ala breakfast at tiffany s.I took a while to figure out what that means.....classic, american, silver, pearls.....white roses or even champagn colours to go with it.Hmm...the end result is what you see below.....gina hope its what you wanted.I myself love it.Thank you dear for your trust..may you and eddy have a wonderful life together.Thank you to my sis for helping me out with the pillows.....they were so pretty and mom who is always around to give us a helping hand.

October cheers - Wedding

My other project for October was on 13 October 2011.This time its for Hezreena and partner.First time I met Reena was in Subang Parade.She was with her mom and sis.For the family this was going to be the first wedding.As planned it was going to be held at the new SACC hall in S Alam.

They seemed full of excitement.I myself looked forward to doing this set.

So happened I had done for her close friends Azlan and Farah some two years ago.Anyway Hezreen s theme color was deep turqouise.Somehow I was not interested to use that color at all. Did a set of cream, champagn and orange flowers instead. hope you and your family liked them Reen.Again thank you for your trust and best wishes to you and hubby.

Purple Haze of October - Wedding

The wedding season s back.Its Oct 1 2011.This time its Nor aini and Hakimi s wedding.Ann is from Gombak but works in Kuantan.A tall and sweet lady.The couple came to see me during ramadan.....they chose purple as their theme color.

The outcome was simple....purple and cream roses with pink eustomas.Hope you both liked them.

Peach Passion - Wedding

July 3rd 2011 was Diyana s big day.My task was to prepare her hantarans for the groom.She happened to be a cousin of Aaina and azreena for whom I did
hantarans before. Peach was the theme...but somehow I wanted to inject some strong colours to it.Peach on gray .....The result was quite a pleasant surprise......again orange came into the picture.But I loved it....Diyana hope you and the family like them too.Thank you again my sis Ame, Sophi daughter Ayin for your assistance.Love u all.Thank you Jaja for the introduction.

Beginnings of Summer - Engagement

..Suddenly I was into..the colour orange. why not it is jingga in malay.It somehow could go with many colours...pink, purple, maroon and even blue.First time I did was for a table centre piece.I adored it.....so must try again.this time for azrin s brother who was getting engaged last 28 May 2011.
Thought the colour combination turned out well.. orange , yellow, peach, pink and maroon with gold.Thk you to my sis Ame and daughter Ayin who were assisting me.Thank you Azrin hope to do the wedding hantarans for your brother.Thank you to Kak Hasnah too.

Evening in lilac - Wedding

On christmas eve that is 24 december 2010 is nadiaton aziz and zubir s wedding day.held at Masjid Munawarrah in Sec 27 Shah Alam.To both bride and groom congratulations and to the happy parents who welcome a new member to the family.

Nadiaton chose to have a combination of lilac , blue and white for her hantaran colours. Hope you,and family liked what we have done for you.

Purple Magic - Wedding

Purple, purple, purple ......how I love the colour! theres so many shades of it that you can never get tired or it.Its indeed a magical colour.Experimenting the combination of colours is what I love doing.Of cos my fav flowers...orchids!
Its Fara Dilla s big day..12 november 2010.Working with Dilla and her mom,puan Nora, of section 9, shah alam,was a delight and easy.This pretty lady knew what she wanted.The results turned out pretty nicely too.Love them myself.The striking colours were a contrast against the off white pillows which was magical too.Thank you again Ame who helped me handstitched the pillows,Jaja my all time runner, Ayin ,Nedd an Ani always helping me out.Thank you and love you all dearly.To Puan Nora Selamat Menyambut Menantu,Dilla and partner,Selamat Pengantin Baru and to my dear friend,Rodziah thank you for the introduction.

Delightful Pink - Wedding

Hi.....quite a while since I last update my blog....reason.....becos pictures unavailable.The ones Im showing here are not that nicely taken.....the unprofessionals (sorry ija....I know it was a rush at the masjid!)but anyway, it was the wedding of shahira or better known as Ira and partner shukri.Ira happens to be my husband s grand niece.
They were married at Masjid TUDM in TTDI on 5 november 2010.Pink and gray were the colours of the day.Nothing fancy but a simple presentation so to speak.Nieces noraini and sister Shikin were around to give a helping hand and so was my sister Ame my dear assistant.Thank you all.
White lace on gray was indeed a delight.All hand stitched and beaded.Anyone interested you know where to call me.I customise alas dulang too!Aunty Raina 012 2965148.

Purple Hearts - Engagement

Zamri is the son of my close friend from Penang , Rodziah.Rodziah has always been so kind with her daun sireh which she has aplenty in her backyard.Thank you Rodziah.Can never repay you for all the daun sireh I have got from you.Anyway, for this engagement Rodziah has prepared herself beautiful set of alas dulang in deep purple.The beautiful pieces of vietnamese silver all belong to her.....she wanted the arrangements to be simple.....hope you and family especially Zamri liked the arrangements.Nothing like fresh flowers....they make a whole lot of difference......alive!

Lovely in Lace - Wedding

Im back after ramaddan s over.This time its Khaty's big day.The date is 2nd October 2010.A good friend of my son and daughter in law. This pretty and petite lass liked what I did for Anna.
